CONGRATULATIONS on embarking on this journey! We are absolutely thrilled about this NEW LIFE that you are beginning today. Welcome to a life of God’s divine joy, peace, and grace. Like any journey, this one is made up of many steps. Let’s explore these steps together. We are committed to walking with you!

1 - ACCEPT THAT WE ALL MISS THE MARK…A LOT!

We all have things about ourselves that need to change. As we embark on this destination realize that we all have flaws – both large and small. Always remember that God knows and understands everything about you, and He wants you to continually surrender your mistakes to Him.

God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, He forgives them and cleanses us from everything we’ve done wrong. 

I John 1:9

2 - EMBRACE GOD’S LOVE

With open arms, God welcomes us despite our sins! He loves us with an everlasting love and longs to have a relationship with us. No matter what happens along this journey, He is our trusted friend, and we can always depend on His love.

I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, I have drawn you out with kindness.

Jeremiah 31:3

3 - TRUST IN JESUS

In this brand-new life, our destiny and our relationship with God are secured through JESUS CHRIST! God sent His Son, Jesus, as a sacrifice to die in our place on the cross. He came to earth to redeem us from the influence and penalty of our mistakes, failures, and shortcomings. We no longer have to carry our own burdens or figure life out by ourselves. We can completely trust in Jesus!

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped.

Psalms 28:7

4 - A FRESH BEGINNING

As we come to know Jesus as our Redeemer, we find that we will flourish in every good work because of God’s Spirit that now lives within us! Because of this Jesus we are now empowered to live a fulfilling life that is pleasing to God.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, new things have come.

II Corinthians 5:17

5 – LEARNING AND GROWING

We learn how to please God by spending unhurried time reading and exploring the Bible. It is the ultimate guide on our journey as a Believer. As we read and explore, we discover God’s profound care for us and valuable insights that guide us toward a purposeful life.

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives.

6 – CONNECTING WITH GOD

Along with reading and exploring the Bible, we can build our connection with God by praying to Him. Prayer gives God an opportunity to answer our questions, comfort us, and even intervene in our circumstances! Prayer releases God’s power.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.

Philippians 4:6

7 – STRENGTHENING OUR FAITH

As we pursue God, we get to know Him better, our lives become more meaningful, and our faith in Him deepens. Reading the Bible, praying, and spending time with other Believers are ways to make sure that our faith stays strong.
